Evaluation summary – Mobilizing health human resources to fight HIV-AIDS (HUPH)

In Vietnam, since the commitment to the 90-90-90 targets in 2015, the challenges of sustaining health human resources in the fight against HIV-AIDS have been accentuated, mainly due to declining external funding. This situation underlines the urgency of reinforcing the internal management of human resources in sub-national health units and provincial disease control centers.

Through the HUPH project, the aim is to improve human resources management for more effective prevention and control of HIV-AIDS, in alignment with the 90-90-90 objectives, both for the transition phase up to 2020 and for the future.
