Evaluation Overview- Training and Empowerment for Enhanced Support of Adolescents and Young Women Infected or Affected by HIV (SIDACTION)

Evaluations 19/06/2024

In Burkina Faso, Burundi, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, and Togo, the high prevalence of HIV among adolescents and young people is compounded by challenges in coordinating efforts and mobilizing resources. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated these challenges, necessitating enhanced collaboration between civil organizations and public institutions to improve access to care and services.

Supported by L’Initiative, the project “Training and empowerment for enhanced support of adolescents and young women infected or affected by HIV” is the second phase of an initiative aimed at strengthening the skills of partner associations in specific care for adolescents, developing synergies with national programs and networks of stakeholders, mobilizing youth in advocacy efforts, and capitalizing on best practices.
