2025 : stay the course measuring impact
Record activity, commitments made under constraints, and tangible results. In 2025, L’Initiative demonstrated its ability to stay the course in an unprecedented budgetary context, maintaining continuity of services, consolidating its achievements and continuing to work as closely as possible with the most

In an increasingly unstable international context, L’Initiative has remained focused on what matters most: ensuring continuity, protecting the progress achieved and preparing for the future. This means strengthening national capacities, removing the barriers that prevent the most vulnerable from accessing care, promoting human rights and safeguarding the role of community-based actors and civil society organisations. The challenges ahead remain immense. They require consistency, humility and collective commitment. I am convinced that L’Initiative has the strength needed to continue working with its partners to advance a more equitable, sustainable and human-centred approach to global health.
2025 will remain a defining year for L’Initiative: a year marked by record levels of activity, but also by a sharp reduction in our ability to make new commitments. Faced with this situation, we had to make difficult choices: prioritising the most essential support, preserving continuity of services and protecting the achievements built with our partners over the years. In uncertain times, our responsibility is to stay the course.
